Senior DevOps Cloud Engineer

As part of our innovative Software Development team you will:

Continuously improve and evolve developer experiences such as state-of-the-art CI/CD pipelines
Deploy and manage applications on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) with a focus on performance, resilience, scalability, and costs
Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and CloudFormation for defining and managing cloud infrastructure
Ensure the security of system and customers' data
Build best in class observability solutions for our distributed systems
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and deliver high-quality solutions aligned with business objectives
Stay up to date with best practices and emerging technologies to continuously enhance the development process
Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering a collaborative and knowledge-sharing environment

Your profile

Key requirements:

Minimum 7 years of hands-on experience in a DevOps role
Solid experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g. Terraform, CloudFormation, CDK)
Demonstrated expertise in designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines
Experience deploying and managing applications on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes)
Proficiency in implementing, monitoring, and logging solutions for applications and infrastructure
Deep knowledge of security best practices within the DevOps framework
Effective collaboration skills with cross-functional teams
Ideally, certifications in DevOps, cloud platforms, or related areas
Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Very good English skills

Just so you know what to expect: For this position, we offer a competitive overpayment based on qualification and experience. Annual gross salary starts at € 60,000 full-time - at Tractive that means a 4-day work week with a 3-day weekend. If you bring relevant experience in many of the fields of responsibility, the salary will be considerably higher.
